Focus SPI camshafts

We have 2 different computer-designed camshaft profiles developed for the Ford Focus 2.0L SPI engines. These will fit most needs except all all-out race engine. Others can be custom ground. These hydraulic cams (with the exception of the roller) MUST be used with our lifters and valve spring kits and installed to our specs. for maximum performance. "Using the factory roller lifters with these cams can result in serious engine damage." These are flat-tappet design and need to be broken in with regular non-synthetic oil containing more zinc-phophorus. These cams are of the "Split-Pattern" type having more valve opening on the exhaust side. The profiles are based on the flow limitations of the cylinder head design. These cams will work best with a high flow intake and exhaust system. NOTE: Cams may not work well in OBDII engines without a reprogrammed computer chip.

NOTICE: Our cam supplier no longer has the cores to grind new camshafts from. At this time we are buying brand new cast iron camshafts and having them reground to our specs. The roller cams cannot be reground due to the heat treating. We have to use a specific cam that has enough lobe material to be reground properly. These cams are available by "Special Order" only and are NON RETURNABLE, but are covered under a full warranty (if using new lifters and following proper break in procedures). Instructions included.                             Allow at least 4 weeks for delivery.

* 1C1C66C-F (Flat Tappet Hydraulic) 260/266 dur-.443/.450 lift (MUST be use with our single valve springs and retainers). Good for mild to moderate motor with automatic trans or standard shift. Smooth idle. Pulls good from 2,500 thru 6,000 rpm. Excellent fuel economy. You MUST use new lifters and follow proper break in proceedures with this cam.

* 1C1C84C-F (Flat Tappet Hydraulic) 276/284 dur-.467/.490 lift (MUST be use with our dual valve springs, retainers, and seals). Good for strong street, mild race engine with standard shift. Has a decent idle but power comes in late for an automatic with a stock torque converter. Pulls good from 3,500 thru 6,500 rpm. Works best with a ported cylinder head and intake & exhaust modifications. Good fuel economy. You MUST use new lifters and follow proper break in proceedures with this cam.
